Join us Monday August 18th at 8:30am for a ribbon cutting and the official opening of our brand new location at 125 S. Church St. We cannot wait to show you what we have been working on, and to share our new home with you!


We have so much planned for this first week including sampler classes, prizes, games, food, activities and more! Don't miss Tuesday with special guests featuring a live broadcast from WHMI and a Meet and Greet with Martha, the Brighton Area Schools therapy dog that roams the halls in our new building.

We are officially saying goodbye to the Miller Building after 40 years and moving to our new home at the Brighton Education and Community Center (BECC). While we are in the process of moving and setting up our new space we will have some programs temporarily relocated to Hawkins Elementary School. Please see the schedule and timeline below and we'll see you in our new space on August 18th - More details on our opening week to come!


Temporary Location: Hawkins Elementary

 8900 Lee Rd, Brighton (Enter through the main entrance off Rickett Rd)


All of these programs will take place at their regular scheduled times.


*Please bring exact change for activities that require money.


August 4–7:

Programs running at Hawkins:

  • Grandparent Camp (9:30am-11:30am, Mon-Fri)

  • Euchre (10am, Mon & Wed, No Fri)

  • Bingo (1:30pm, Tue & Thu)

  • Yoga (Classes at Scheduled Times & Days)

  • Mahjong (10am, Wed)

  • Art Classes (Classes at Scheduled Times & Days)

  • Forever Fit (1pm, Thu)


Friday, August 8:

August 11–14:

WHERE:

The Brighton Senior Center will be moving to the Brighton Education and Community Center (BECC) located at 125 S. Church St. Just around the corner.







WHEN:

We are hoping to move into our newly remodeled home in early August 2025.


WHY:

We're growing! Our memberships are increasing and we need more space to continue to our community.
